Waiver Language: I know that running in an event that is organized as a virtual activity where I run on my own, at a date and time of my choosing, in a location and running route of my choosing, which will not have any support or security measures in place by the Austin Outlaws Football Team or the Women’s Football Alliance, is a potentially hazardous activity, which could result in injury or death. I acknowledge that I am participating in the activity outlined by this virtual event by my own free will and at my own personal risk. I will not participate in a virtual event unless I am medically able and properly trained, and by my signature, I certify that I am medically able to perform this event, and am in good health, and I am properly trained. I agree to follow all pedestrian safety ordinances including running on a sidewalk where available and not in the road. I agree to follow the rules of the road if no sidewalk or multi-use trail is available, and I will run against oncoming traffic and not with traffic. I waive and release and any all rights and claims for damages I may have against the race, and sponsors and their representatives, successors and assigns for any and all injuries suffered by me in said event. I know that participating in the in-person No Huddle Hustle 5K at Texas School for the Deaf is a potentially hazardous activity and I should not enter and participate unless I am medically able and properly trained. I acknowledge and assume any and all risks associated with this event including, but not limited to, traffic on the course route, falls, contact with other participants, and the condition of the course, including, but not limited to, curbs, cars, uneven pavement, potholes, rocks, and objects on the course surface. Knowing and appreciating these risks and in consideration of your acceptance of my entry, I hereby for myself, my heirs, representatives or anyone else claiming on my behalf, covenant not to sue, and waive, release, and discharge Austin Outlaws and Texas School for the Deaf, its volunteers, and sponsors, and anyone else acting for or on behalf the No Huddle Hustle 5K from any and all claims of liability for death, personal injury, or damage of any kind arising out of my participation in this run. This Acknowledgement of Risk and Waiver of Liability extends to all claims of every kind whatsoever. I also consent to emergency treatment in the event of injury or illness. I grant full permission to Austin Outlaws and/or any person or entity authorized by it to use my name, age, date of birth, finish place and finish time in the public domain. I further grant full permission for Austin Outlaws to use any photographs, recordings, or any other record of this event for any purpose.
