Veteran's Day Kids 1K Run

Here's a fun way to have the kids through 12 years old join in the fun and festivities!

The Kid's 1K is new this year and is a part of the Veterans Day 5K Run benefitting the United Way of Kaufman County, honoring all men and women who have bravely served and those who have given their life for our country.

The 1K is a 0.5K out and back from the start line and is not timed. All finishers will receive a finisher's medal.

The Kid's K will start at 8:45 am on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at Terrell Veteran’s Memorial Park - 1314 W. Moore by the Chamber of Commerce

Race day registration, T-shirt and packet pickup start at 7:00am.

Price is $15, shirt sizes not guaranteed for late registrations after October 17, 2025 so register early to guarantee your shirt size!

Price listed above does not include includes a $4.00 processing fee per entrant which will be added at checkout.

Waiver of Claim

In consideration of the acceptance of registration entry, I the undersigned assume full and complete responsibility for any injury or accident, which may occur during my participation in the event, or while on the premises. I hereby release and hold harmless the United Way of Kaufman County, The City of Terrell, Terrell Chamber of Commerce/CVB, Event Data Solutions, Inc., Sponsors, Promoters and all other entities associated with the event or their agents or employees or otherwise. I will not enter and participate unless medically able and properly trained. I understand that there may be traffic on the course route. I assume the risk associated with this event, including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, effects of weather, and the conditions of the road. Fees are non-refundable. I have read the foregoing and certify my agreement by this signature and my parent’s or guardian’s if under age 18.
